The interview started off with Ms. Jones discussing how the project Reach Youth clinic defines success and being effective. Ms. Jones expressed that effectiveness and successfulness to her and the clinic is when they provide the “ information to your young people and even to the community in general. Even if someone doesn’t come to the clinic right away at least they are aware of the services we have for them.” Ms. Jones believes that success IS trying their best at providing information, and attempting to get them to come to the clinic for services, as long as they keep trying and continue to spread information on Project Reach Youth that is success for her. Ms. Jones affirms that as long as they try their hardest to make sure everyone they are relaying their information to comprehends what they are being taught, in addition to having knowledge of the services that Project Reach Youth and the clinic has to offer than they are effective and successful.
Ms. Jones continues on discussing how she advertises the help that project reach youth and the clinic offer to the community, Her reply was that Project Reach Youth uses “ social media, our website and we’re on site where people can google sexual health services and we will pop up.” by using social media which is something that majority of teenagers are on you create a easy and sufficient way to grasp their attention and feed them information. Many teenagers are on social media, so the best way to tackle their attention is using a resource that they are commonly on.

Ms. Jones then proceeded to discuss the specific services that are being offered at the clinic, she states that the clinic provides “STI screening, HIV testing, pregnancy test, options counseling, plan b, birth control, PREP” in addition to providing “services that help youth between the ages of 13 and 21 at getting health coverage.” When asked about how Project Reach Youth services and education effect their participants, those who visit the community, those who are in the sunset park area, and those who you reach in the general NYC area, Ms.Jones then smiled and said that “We are able to provide information and vital services for the community and for those who may not have a youth friendly clinic in their neighbors.” She then continues saying that providing an open door helps the community, it gives youth a safe place to be, and encourages the youth that do come to be comfortable bringing other youth with them. By providing information to those who want to listen and learn, and suggesting that other attempt to absorb the information Project Reach Youth and other sexual education courses are projecting, sexual education is effective to youth.
